18,452 YOUNG PEOPLE SERVED by LVF IN 2016
On December 10 Human Rights’ Day celebration, LVF holds its 26th Annual Christmas Partihan with the theme on the family, “Ngayong Pasko, Ikaw ang Pamilya Ko!” Around one thousand five hundred (1,500) street and urban poor children were gathered together at the Don Bosco School, Sta. Mesa, Manila. It commenced with a Eucharistic Celebration. The Christmas booth fair (food booth, game booth and photo booth), the acrobat show and the presentations of the different communities made it a day full of fun and surprises. Our male youth advocates launched BRAVE (Boys Reject Abuse Violence and Exploitation) to their fellow youth. The party ended with the distribution of pails of groceries, toys and other giveaways coming from the Board of Trustees and faithful benefactors to the delight of the children, making them feel important on Jesus’ birthday.
