C.o.m.e Negros

With the launching of LVF’s Community Mobilization for Education (COME) Project in 2004 at the LVF-CDRTC in Victorias City, Negros Occidental, preventive interventions through education programs for at least 500 child laborers and children at risk each year; awareness raising; and, capacity building of community members helped decreased the vulnerability of children and youth from the sugar plantations. This has paved the way for a more intensified advocacy campaign against child labor, exploitation and trafficking
