LVTC TRAINEES FROM STA MESA & MALIHAO JOIN 2019 NATIONAL YOUTH DAY IN CEBU
It was a wonderful opportunity to be part of the 2019 National Youth Day. As an educator, I felt that somehow, in my own little way, I am the Servant of the Lord. The experiences were heart-warming as the people of Cebu welcomed as with such hospitality and life changing because of the everyday activities and encounter with the young people in different sectors of the society. I am thankful for the Salesian Sisters who brought me in this occasion. – Ms. Felina Narvaez, LVTC Sta Mesa teacher
I am so happy being part of the NYD 2019 as it is also my first time in Cebu. I can’t forget when “Tita Gwapa” shared her personal life on how she handled life problems such the health of her son. And because of the love she had for her son, she continued to pray. She also emphasis that for God nothing is impossible to overcome. As for me, praying to Mary will lead miracles for us. – Almar David Benjamin, LVTC Sta Mesa trainee
I am so blessed and privilege to have been given the chance by the LVTC to participate The NYD 2019 I have experience. The Church loved us young people, how eager they are to help us young people to deepen our intimacy with Jesus and our Catholic Faith. They also made us aware that we are important in the church, we are valued and most importantly this event helped us open the doors of our hearts to Christ’s plan for we are also empowered to become sensitive to socio-political realities and become missionaries in our way. Indeed we are “Servants of the Lord” like our Blessed Mother, Mary. – Ma. Aika Franco Tacud, LVF Malihao trainee
