After lunch there was an inspiration talk from a young lady who had been born without arms. She encouraged the children with the message that 'with God, nothing is impossible' as she spoke about being able to fly an airplane in spite of her disability and wrote them a note with her toes. More entertainment followed including a popular singing duo which was very much appreciated by the crowds.
The LVF board of directors shared a solidarity message with the children before distributing Christmas gifts to all, a large bucket full of foodstuffs to share with their families and some toys. We concluded the party with a Christmas message from Ms Marissa Concepcion and a countdown after which 25 poppers were let off and fired streamers into the air to open the 25th anniversary celebrations of LVF.
